Jon, How nice to hear from you. I have many, many, many photos and letters. My grandmother was the youngest of Emily and Cyrus’ children. Her daughter, my great aunt, gave me all the papers and photos that came down to her. I am returning to Kingston NY next week to work at a week long workshop at R&F. I was born there 64 years ago. I thought I would visit Woodstock where I spent my earliest years. On a whim I googled Anita Stallforth who was my god mother. As soon as I saw the name ‘Cookie House’ I knew I was on the right trail. I would love to visit the little house at the bottom of the road.
I enjoyed your writings. I cannot impress on you enough how influencial those early visual memories are in my mind. I have pictures of myself playing in the river in town at about the age three. Swinging in the grape vines in the woods.
